It's very seldom that we have had a customer take us up on this guarantee. However, it has happened. Back in 1996 one of our systems simply was not getting the job done for our customer Timberwolf, of Juneau, Alaska, so we took the system back. After it had been returned, the owner of Timberwolf sent us the following note.

The Customer (you) agrees to notify American Retail Supply Technology Solutions (the company) promptly with any problems or questions encounterd with the system that may lead you to return the system for a refund. You agree to allow the company a reasonable and prudent amount of time to fix the problem(s) and/or answer question(s). You agree to provide the company with high speed internet service access to the system on an ongoing basis so that the company can perform its service obligations.
With the Customer's investment in software, hardware, and a one year support contract from the company, the Customer receives the company's No Excuses Make-You-Happy Guarantee. You understand that getting your entire system and support from one supplier is critical to ensure that you receive the service you need when there is a problem or question. The company cannot guarantee your satisfaction when the company does not have complete access, knowledge and/or responsibility for your hardware, software, and support. You agree to notify the company when you have a problem or question.
If you need or wish to install additional hardware or software onto the system you must first obtain the company's approval in writing before doing so, in order for this guarantee to be valid. The company needs to ensure that any hardware or software you add is compatible with the system.
Provided you purchase the entire system (hardware and software) and support, and notify the company when you have a problem or question, you may return the system for a full refund of the purchase price and support fees for a perioid of up to one year after the initial purchase if you deem the performance of the system, or the performance of the company is unsatisfactory as represented.
You agree that you may not return the system for a refund for any other reason other than the unsatisfactory performance of the system or the performance of the company. The following site some examples of unacceptable reasons for the return of a system:
- You change your business plan so that the system is no longer an important part of your business.
- You go out-of-business.
- You discover another system you want to purchase after purchasing our system.
- Any other reason that does not directly relate to the system performance or the company's performance as represented.
